The mad Hatter is going mad because he hasn’t found his Alice. He has a fairy godmother who has brought him tons of different Alice’s but none of them are his truly beloved. Finally one day the godmother gets a message saying that Alice is here. So she arranges for Alice to come to Wonderland. The Hatter has already been heartbroken many times before and doesn’t want to get close to this Alice.
WTF did I just read?!
I swear there were tons of references or instances where they mentioned the female character’s friggin widow peak. What is so great about a widow’s peak? Does the other get hot and bothered by widow peaks?
OK… So it wasn’t THAT bad but it could definitely have been better. Alice was lacking character. She was too flat of a character. The mad Hatter comes off as more interesting with his ramblings and the way the Wonderland world is built is pretty great. I think I just have a problem with Alice and the god fairy.
This story could have been a lot better if the author had, maybe, spent more time on it.
